1. Rumah Pesawat Luar Angkasa

Bangunan unik berbentuk piano ini terletak di Propinsi An Hui, Cina. Pada bagian biolanya ada eskalator menuju ke dalam gedung dan di bagian dalamnya terdapat rencana-rencana pembangunan di propinsi tersebut untuk menarik para investor yang ating.
13. Longaberber Basket Company HQ � Newark, Ohio
Bangunan ini berawal dari mimpi Dave Longaberger, pendiri The Longaberger Company, untuk membangun kantornya dengan desain keranjang besar. Ide pemilik perusahaan yang memproduksi keranjang-keranjang dari kayu ini awalnya ditertawakan oleh semua orang, termasuk dari para arsitek, investor, dan perusahaan konstruksi. Tapi David tetap mewujudkan mimpi tersebut dan pada 17 Desember 1997 akhirnya bangunan tersebut berdiri dan menjadi salah satu gedung yang terkenal di seluruh dunia.
14. Replay�s Building
Pada tahun 1812, gempa bumi dengan kekuatan lebih dari 8 SR mengguncang New Madrid, Missouri dan menghancurkan semua bangunan. Well, hampir semua. Salah satu bangunan yang �selamat� adalah bangunan yang retak ini dan kini menjadi bagian dari daftar bangunan unik di Ripley's Believe It or Not.

For only $400,000, you could be living in your own fairytale-style mushroom house located in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Though it seems to defy the laws of nature, this structure in the Ukraine is apparently supported by the beams on the right hand side of the image. It looks a bit fake, don�t you think?

Good Morning friends, I am away this week in Italy on honeymoon with the Mr. and right about now I imagine I am deep in the vineyards of Tuscany sipping wine! A hard life, I know! With the amazing popularity of Pinterest I thought we would start a week long series of "Pinning With" where I introduce you to a few of my favorite bloggers and show you what pins they are loving this week! First up, Design Darling!
I met Mackenzie Horan at the launch of RUE Magazine but had a more in depth chat with her (& her fabulous Mom) while waiting in line for the Nate Berkus Show. Immediately I knew she was going to take the blogging world by storm. It is not everyday you meet someone who is completely authentic and has a true sense of their style but Mackenzie absolutely did and it impressed me! Her blog Design Darling is chock full of gorgeous interior and fashion images and now to my delight she has opened an online boutique! Go ahead shop her style!
I love classic white subway tile and this kitchen is no exception! If only my own countertops were so tidy...
I blogged about this fabulous workspace belonging to stylist Catherine Sheppard this week after spotting it on Glitter Guide. I have an ongoing blog feature called "desk du jour" — there's something fascinating about seeing where people work!

Not only is she an amazing stylist she is also a mom juggling her own company (which of course I am taking tips from) and is always such a joy to catch up with when I see her at events! Marfa! Dream destination with a dream modern cottage. I fantasize about building a place like this on land we own, a place to escape to while we think and plan what we would build on the land. Then later making it my office.

Radiant Republic is fairly new to the blogging world but you would never know it as she has jumped right in and found her voice instantly (which to some can be a BIG challenge)! Erika's blog is chock full of great lifestyle tidbits from lust worthy fashion ensembles to daydreamy interiors she has it all covered. She was also just included in the latest RUE magazine and also lends her voice to the Wayfair Blog, "My Way Home" Keep an eye out because I predict you are about to see a lot more of my friend Erika!!
When I wake up in the morning, I tuck into a cozy space with my iPad and mug of coffee to begin my day. With little room for distraction, small spaces inspire some of my best writing. And who wouldn't be inspired by spaces as lovely as these?
